About the directory
Dutch.beer lists Dutch breweries, beers, places and events using public sources and contributions. We check listings, but we can't guarantee that every detail (opening hours, availability, alcohol percentage, event dates) is complete or current. Check with the brewery or organiser before you travel or buy.
We don't sell beer or tickets. Links to brewery and event websites are for information; those sites have their own terms.
Alcohol
Dutch.beer is meant for people aged 18 and over. Geniet, maar drink met mate. NIX18: no alcohol under 18.
Contributions
When you send a correction, event or listing, you confirm the information is accurate to your knowledge and that you may share it. You allow us to publish, edit and reuse it in the directory and its tools. We may decline or remove anything at our discretion.
Brewery accounts (app.dutch.beer)
- Only claim a brewery you're authorised to represent. We may ask for proof and may refuse or withdraw a claim.
- You're responsible for the content you publish, including beers, menus and addresses, and for keeping it accurate.
- Content must be lawful and must not mislead, infringe anyone's rights or target minors. Follow the Dutch alcohol advertising code (Reclamecode voor Alcoholhoudende Dranken) where it applies.
- Keep access to your email secure; anyone with your sign-in link can act for your workspace.
- The tools are free for now. We may change, limit or stop features, and will give notice before charging for anything.
- You can stop at any time; email us to delete your account.
Names and brands
Brewery names, logos and beer labels belong to their owners. We show them to identify the brewery or beer. If you own a brand and want something changed, email us.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, no spam through our forms, and no bulk scraping that harms the service. The open-source code is available under its own licence on GitHub.
Liability
Dutch.beer is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damage or for decisions made based on information in the directory. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law.
Law and changes
Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll tell brewery account holders about significant changes by email.
